How We Plan Plastering & Ceilings Work
No ceiling is closed with work still open above it. Air conditioning, electrics, lighting, plumbing and heating are installed and tested in the void first, and the trades are programmed to the day so the plasterboard goes up once.
Plaster is left to dry properly before decoration starts, so the paint finish holds.

Plastering & Ceilings FAQs
Why Have a Dropped Ceiling?
It creates space for air conditioning, wiring, lighting and insulation that an old ceiling cannot take, and it can be built with fire rated plasterboard.
Will a Dropped Ceiling Make the Room Feel Lower?
It lowers the ceiling slightly. The depth is set at design stage to fit the services while keeping as much height as possible.
Can You Add Sound Insulation Between Rooms?
Yes. The partitions at Park Royal Offices were built with sound insulation between each of the five private offices.
