How We Plan Electrical & Lighting Work
New lighting means new cable runs to every ceiling and wall point, so the order on site is fixed: wiring first, then ceilings and plaster repairs, then decoration, then the final fittings.
Every installation is tested and signed off on completion, and in an occupied home the work is split room by room so the property stays usable.

Electrical & Lighting FAQs
Do I Need a Full Rewire?
On a full refurbishment, usually yes: we normally rewire and fit a new consumer unit. Otherwise it depends on the age and condition of the installation. We test it and advise.
Can You Add Spotlights Without a Dropped Ceiling?
Often, depending on the ceiling depth and joists. A dropped ceiling gives more depth for lighting and leaves room for other services such as air conditioning.
Will I Get a Certificate?
Yes. Every installation is tested on completion and you receive the electrical certificate.
