How We Plan Gas Installation Work
Gas in a commercial kitchen has to meet gas safety and ventilation standards before anything else can move, so it is planned with the canopy and extraction from the first day.
In a small unit, the gas often has to go under the floor. It is laid, tested and signed off before the floor is closed and finished.

All gas work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers.
Can Gas Be Run Under the Floor?
Yes. In a small unit it is often the best route. At Mayyil Knightsbridge the gas connections were laid under the floor, tested, then the floor was closed and retiled.
Do You Install Gas for Commercial Kitchens?
Yes. We plan commercial kitchen gas with the canopy and extraction from the first day, as at both Mayyil restaurants.
