How We Plan Air Conditioning Work
Air conditioning is planned at the start of a project, not added at the end. Pipework, drainage and power share the ceiling void with the electrics and plumbing, so every run is installed and tested before the plasterboard goes up.
In managed and listed buildings, the system and the position of any external unit are agreed with building management, the freeholder and the council before anything is ordered.

Air Conditioning FAQs
Can I Have Air Conditioning Without an Outdoor Unit?
Yes. Some systems run entirely from inside the property. We installed one at Queen's Gate, where building management would not allow an outdoor unit.
Do I Need Permission to Install Air Conditioning in a Flat?
In a managed building you will usually need consent from building management or the freeholder, and listed buildings or some external units may need council consent too. We check what is needed and apply for you.
Can the Units Be Hidden?
Yes. Indoor units and pipework can be concealed in a dropped ceiling, leaving only a discreet grille, as at Melbury Court.
Will It Heat as Well as Cool?
Most modern split and ducted systems can heat as well as cool. We confirm what your system will do when we specify it.
