A three bedroom flat in Wandsworth, refurbished throughout: new kitchen, renovated bathrooms, joinery in every bedroom and all electrical and plumbing systems replaced.
What sets it apart is the finishing. French wall panelling runs through the flat, and the living room has a feature wall designed to work with it rather than against it.

Sequencing French Wall Panelling Through a Whole Flat
French wall panelling touches every other trade. Each panel is measured and cut to the room, fixed level, filled, sanded and painted. The electricians need the panel layout before they set out sockets and switches, the flooring has to meet the panelling cleanly at skirting level, and the decorators cannot finish until it is all in. Get the sequence wrong and it means rework.
The feature wall was fixed at design stage, not on site, so its proportions and materials sat with the panelling from the start.
Approvals for Wandsworth
- Licence to Alter & Building Management
- The works needed the freeholder's consent. We prepared and submitted the Licence to Alter for the client and had it granted before work started.
- Building Control
- All works were inspected and signed off by building control, and the completion certificate was issued at handover.

Wardrobes in every bedroom and a fitted shoe cabinet were designed, made and installed by Yasmeen Joinery from our Park Royal workshop, built to fit around the panelling so the lines run through.
The Finished Project at Wandsworth
The panelling is the first thing you notice when you walk in, and the feature wall gives the living room a focal point. Behind the finishes, the flat has new electrics and plumbing, a new kitchen and new bathrooms.
Handed over in July 2022.
